Can I change my screen name and still keep my sign up date? If so, how does one go about it?

I've been back over a year now though :)
I did back in 2003. I simply contacted the admin monitor and asked to change my screen name from "Kalashnikov_68" to "Drew68" and it was done in about 5 minutes.
Funny though, all old replies written to me prior to my change date remained "To: Kalashnikov_68" whereas all of my old posts I had written reflected my new handle.
I kept my sign-on date.
Mike, when someone searches posts by MikefromOhio, will they get to see the posts by MikeInIraq?

you seen, your SN is an alias which they attach to your actual ID. Your ID (it's probably numerical at some level) can have multiple aliases

And just one more thing...All US contracters there put their life on the line every day too...We both know what happened/ could happen again...Glad it didn't happen to you...You do "know what I mean Verne..." (Famous TV commercial reference there.)

It's just that if I don't qualify everything, I'll get idiots on me about it :)
I don't mind though, it takes my mind off of the fact that my Buckeyes can't hit a shot today.
I am with you on that. I don't want it to happen. No one in their right mind does.
But eventually we will probably have too, I'm afraid. If Iran plays this to the end, they will either have to go to war over it, or their government will fall.
I didn't know you could when I left here for a while so I thought I had to come up with a new one. The big upshot to that is, people think you're new and you get to screw with them while they act like fools with the 'newbie' stuff.
