I never said that I was a morning person. I reported that the the birds were morning people!

Have a good day at work!

How are you and your brood?

Our standardized tests are just over a week away, so it's plenty of drill for my two oldest children. Of course, the tests might not arrive on time *crossing fingers*, but it's better to be prepared than not.

Of course Vlad is hungry; he's a growing boy! Is he sleeping better for you, yet?

Aside from being tired, we're doing okay. Vlad is not sleeping, to speak of. Maybe three hours at a stretch. I'm surviving, but it's getting old. I took him to be weighed yesterday - 13 lbs.!

The sun is shining here, an improvement over the last two days. The boys are supposed to spread more grass seed today, according to their dad, and Bill has an appointment with our State Senator to talk about government (for a Boy Scouts requirement.)

We're still trying to get James to use the toilet. I think we'll just have to take the diapers away and accept the mess for a few days. Maybe in April ... his grandparents would be really impressed if he was toilet trained in time for their next visit (early May).

You guys are so good to me! Thanks! I saved the destructions so I can refer to them when my brain is in a more cooperative mood.

Hey, You!
How are things is Oz?

(I met a gal from Sydney at the doctor's office, yesterday. Of course I pretended it was you!)

Here's a little something if you like reading. The top one is a novel, the bottom is a "long" short story. Both are excellent!

How are you doing? Are you still ga-ga over your Sweetie? WHat's the latest on the wedding plans?

Three chins? How cute!

You'll be fine. You've been concentrating on Vlad, so it's understandable that you would not necessarily be focusing on yourself, except to make sure you eat well.

Will we be seeing any photos of him soon? Like before he walks? ;o]

A couple of pictures are on my profile page, but they're old. I have a film almost used up on the camera, so I should have more recent shots in about a week. He looks pretty much the same, only twice as big :-).

I am eating well (just too much of it, I think!). Since I gave up cheese for Lent, I can't eat most of the suppers the family makes, so I have salads, leftovers of rice and bean dishes, and other high-fiber stuff.

Bill's making something with no cheese tonight, so I'll be able to eat with them - unless they eat it all while I'm nursing the baby!

Wow. Cheese and FR Fridays...that's a lot of sacrifice for a nursing mother...

When my younger sister was about nine, she "gave up" watermelon. I think Easter was in March, and in Utah, there is often still snow on the ground in March.

I'll check out your home page in a bit. I had to read and run this morning.

I actually went to bed at 11 pm last night. Shocking!

Cheese, tortillas, and cookies! And FR on Fridays. That hasn't been too hard, actually, after the first day when my fingers automatically pulled up FR :-). I may stick with it after Easter, to prove I'm not an addict!

Then, go to an image hosting site (e.g. ImageShack.us). You should get an HTTP link to the image.

I gave up on Imageshack when they became really bad about serving to FR -- too high a volume for their servers, apparently.

I had to sign up for photobucket.com, but they've been pretty good.

I hope Vlad settles into a longer sleeping pattern for you soon.

No diapers can be a very motivating experience, provided going to the potty is not a "control" issue for James. If he's determined not to toilet train, it'll be a rough few days. I'll cross my fingers on that one for you!

Back to the grindstone!

Just back from Bill's interview with the Senator. He said it went very well. Now Vlad's hungry again ... but at least I got to eat my dish of leftovers for lunch: cauliflower and curry sauce with lentils and rice. I think I'll make cabbage with ginger on Thursday, when Anoreth is fixing tuna casserole (more cheese!).

Good luck with the students. Mine are rebelling!

I was wondering why I had so much trouble at Image Shack. I'll have to try Photo Bucket. As long as it's free...;o]

How are you this morning?

Photobucket is indeed free. And it works -- I uploaded three photos to it yesterday.

How are you this morning?

Dragging, but otherwise okay. Just waiting for the goodwife's doctor to get the results so we can move forward.

How about you?
