Oh, well thanks for coming to my defense Coming to your defense? You don't need it, besides I think that was you flaming yourself. Defencse was never needed but I think you have more to offer once you realize that.
To: pcottraux

I can relate. Thank you for your words, and I will do my best.
No problem man. Trust me, I'm in the same boat and it sucks!!
Grad school has been an absolute headache for me. I hardly have any money, never get to ski here or get outside much at all (and that is why I chose to go to school where I am), know very few people and even fewer who like the same things I do, and it gets depressing. And I'm surrounded by liberal idiots!!!
To top it off, I got screwed over pretty hard a year ago by a girl that I was really into and haven't met any since. Seriously, where I'm at now, the majority of the girls I meet who are my age could not care about the things I'm into or what I'm doing. They either still live at home, or spend all their money on a fancy apartment that is beyond their budget and their hobbies include 'you know, umm, going out to the bar, and like, umm, hanging out with my cousin and my mom, and ummmm.....like, shopping. Hee hee'.
Trust me, the fact you're political, and as much funny sh#t as you draw on FR you'll meet a girl eventually.

There is also maturity which seems to come with age in a man, though I've seen a few immature geezers,
Hey, some grow up and others just grow old!!

Wow, everything you just said, 100% of it...I could relate to completely. You and I are in the same boat! Although I'm not surrounded by liberal girls. I do get the feeling, though, that they're all two-watt bulbs.
I'm actually scared about myself though. I still live with my parents, and am also unemployed. But to my credit, I've been looking like crazy for a job. I don't even remember what money is.
