LOL.

I've always wondered if New Utrecht High School was really like that.

I'm too young to have enjoyed "Welcome Back Kotter," and since I've never really watched cable I haven't seen re-runs either.

Heard it was a pretty amusing show though.

Yep. I've sorta got a plan anyway. Just not a definite one.

Hi Scott! Good to see you checking in.

Have you heard anything from Rosie since she's moved? I'm getting a little concerned about that girl, I thought it was only going to take a few days for her to get there and I think it's been two weeks since I've seen her on here. Maybe it's just a week and I'm being a mother hen.

Yeah but me and my mother try to kill each other if we're in the same house for longer than like half an hour.

Don't say hopeless. A woman I knew got married for the first time when she was 60--to a 38-year-old guy.

My great-great uncle (brother to my great grandmother on my father's side) was a Russian Jew who fled the pogroms, he was married once, was charged with bigamy but was acquitted but it ruined his marriage. He played the violin on a concert level and after a few years of that, when he was around 45 or so, he married a young lady 16 to 18 (the family story varies) through a matchmaker in the Jewish community (ala "Fiddler on the Roof" or "Yentl"). I think it happened back in the 1920's or 1930's so it was a different time. I think he had a big family too.

I guess if there was hope for him, there is hope for me. B-D

I can't even afford to buy DVDs I want, and they're talking about cruises?

I'm with ya too, I got some financial demons I have to tame at my end. Well, the only cruise I can go on is if I bum my grade school buddy's boat but I'm not sure if it runs anymore. B-P

Hey, Max,

FReeps Ahoy 4 is for singles, couples, freepers and lurkers. We've had freepers bring parents, in-laws, brethern and sistern, neighbors (some who are Democrats). We've had groups ranging from 20-something guys and gals to over 100. We go for quality, not quantity, LOL.

If anyone thinks these cruises aren't fun, ask some of the freepers who've been on them. See post #223 on the cruise thread.

Those who've been on before and who simply can't go this time are weeping and gnashing their teeth and clawing at their computer screens.

We all meld into one family the first day of the cruise. Freepers are gregarious and happy, unlike the gloomy, stiff and whiny libs we have to deal with here and there.

You make great friendships on these voyages.....and finally get to see the handsome, beautiful, witty, intelligent and vivacious freepers behind those intriguiging screen names you've seen for years.

FReeps Ahoy, Maxie!
