I'm teaching a class this weekend and was waiting for some new materials to download - so was up FReeping while I waited.

I'm teaching tomorrow - someone else is teaching today - but I have to be there with all the equipment, food, etc. by 0730 my time.

Headed to Starbucks for my latte and then over there.

It should actually be fun - unless it's sunny - and that it'll be hell sitting in a classroom when I should be flying or wrenching on the baby.

More later - we have wireless in the classroom. I can FReep all day - if I want to!

;-)

So far Cloudy and Yucky!

But... five people showed up that didn't register.
They'll be sitting on each other's laps by noon tomorrow.

Yikes.

Hey I wanted to give your this info just in case you weren't aware of it.

There is a company that does "medical credit". It's
called Care Credit. Once your hubby gets his insurance, find a dentist/oral surgeon that accepts Care Credit and use it so that you can get on a payment plan instead of coming up with thousands of dollars at one time.

Red, you'll appreciate this because you would have done the same thing. PB, not sure about how you will take it because it impacted one of your favorite movies.

Wife and I got to Wal-Mart last night. At the entrance they have those security things that sense those security tags. Like most stores, they are about five feet high and two or three feet wide. The movie companys have made these cardboard covers that slide over these things, and adverstise DVD's that are being released. On this particular one was an ad for Saws II , which shows two rotting fingers on the cover.

I complained to an employee about it and she said "I agree! Let me go find a manager for you". She did and I shared my concerns with the manager, Charlie, saying I didn't find it very appealing to coming into their food center and seeing that plus if I had a small kid, I would be very upset. The manager said he would go look. When we left, the ad was gone. Way to go, Charlie!

Way to go, Max! I agree with you. Whoever thought it would be a good idea to put that advertisment at the entrance to a grocery store ought to have his head examined.
