Why hasn't the President given in to our (conservatives') demands for a border solution? It is going to hamstring his presidency and our country!

Yeah good point. I am for a concrete wall, 6 feet thick that is 30 feet high and 30 feet deep from the Pacific all the way to the Gulf. One can dream I guess.

Add more BP agents, employ more technology to guard the border, start enforcing laws on the interior.
As for the wall, if it will help, I am all for it, but I'm not sure it would solve the problem.

Saw on Scarborough where they had a journalist who had uncovered a memo warning about an upcoming, coordinated invasion coming along the border. The memo was supposedly from within the Homeland Security Department yet was intentionally withheld from all local law enforcement.
Scary stuff if true; and if it is true I hope the media (TV, radio, heck even the NYTimes) communicates it across the nation. I support President Bush 100% on his policies except on this. When in the world are we going to address the growing problem with security at the border?!?
