i have a home in panama and love it (first went there in '86 as a military dependent), but how old are your boys and do they speak spanish? Would you tend to want to live in the interior, former canal zone or panama city? how much income or spendable cash would you have monthly, and would you plan to rent or buy a house or land?

I just saw a local newsreport where one of our news anchors got exclusive access to Cuba while covering a local trade mission. The DU'er in question can get free healthcare in a clinic that might not have elctricity. He can drive an old Russian clunker, but can never sell it for a new on. And he will get eight bread rolls and eggs every month from the government. Sounds like the life to me.

Adios to the DU'er. I'm sure Castro might even give him a cigar.
