At the time of this posting, they are showing it as being out of stock, with more available in 3 weeks.
The number of things I can come up with in reponse to that would get me banned from FR.
I understand completely. When I first saw this, I was absolutely stunned and I remain astonished. This is nothing more than a sick symbol of feminist hate masquerading as a 'cute kitchen accessory'.
Imagine if the tables were turned....let's say the figure was made to look obviously feminine and it was marketed as the "All Women Are Bitches" knife block (as the writer on the company's site suggests). This would not only be yanked off the market in record time but the company selling it would be sued out of business and the company owners would be prosecuted for hate crimes.
But since it's anti-male hate instead of anti-female hate, it's 'just a cute kitchen accessory'
So if they are conceived out of wedlock, that's the parents' fault, no?
That web site has some of the greatest toys. Little (lots) pricey, but great toys.
Its got nothing to do with feminism there are always those who are more than happy to sell sick stuff to those idiotic enough to buy it.
And what about those sick computer games where you can murder scantly clad women.
When they're expected to return from their various trips to Russia, Ukraine, Colombia, Costa Rica, Brazil, Thailand, Japan etc.
Now, now, now...Let's take the positive view of this. This little kitchen accessory is worth its weight in gold to any sane man - as a warning klaxon, that he'd better skedaddle before he gets figuratively skewered (pun intended).

So, you are suggesting that because this isn't the only offensive thing that's being sold in the world, that makes it okay?
When you say "it's got nothing to do with feminism" I'm wondering what MORE would man-hating militant feminists need to do in order for you to consider it as being in line with their overall ideology....would they need to print a NARAL logo on it for you to concede that yes, maybe they did indeed approve of it?
Have you never encountered this sort of vicious, anti-male hate before? I certainly have, and it's not uncommon. And just because it exists doesn't make it right.
Naaah. Too easy.
And so this begs the obvious question....if they do indeed have such 'great toys' as you say, then what could possibly have possessed them to sell something like this?
No.
but if you are going to get upset, get upset about all the degrading stuff, those that men use to degrade woman as well as this stupid toy.
A woman who would purchase something like this for her home would cause me concerns that any 'skewering' would quite likely be far more than figurative in nature.
The entire point here is that there is absolutely no shortage of loud, shrill voices who will instantly rage against the slightest perceived insult against women, yet an obvious and direct symbol of feminist hatred against men such as "this stupid toy" as you say is pooh-poohed by those same voices who will call for men to be fired and sued and companies to be picketed if they engage in the slighted politically-incorrect transgression.. It's a matter of equality....as I said in post #3.
And in a more perfect world, militant feminist wackos would be REQUIRED to display these in their kitchens (or welded to their front doors), as a warning to the male public, should they be dumb enough to dismiss all the other well-telegraphed warning signs these radioactive femi-nazi's usually spew - and actually accept an invite to her home.
Agreed.... an excellent first step. Ultimately a scarlet F worn on their clothing or even tatooed to their foreheads might be a nice ancillary warning until legislation can be formulated that would require mandatory psychiatric help.
Uhmmmmmm, how do you know its a man, other than the name?
OR has it already been castrated?
MM
Ah, but a point I'd like to bring up:
I've seen those ashtrays you mentioned before. More often than not they are titled "novelty" or named some creative stripper/porn star-esque name.
They aren't titled "All women are whores" as if it was a piece of art work to be admired for its astounding political views.
This piece we see here IS titled as it is, and is presented as something to be admired. People who buy that know the name and will share the "fun information" with their friends... "Oh, I just buoght this knife holder, it's so cute... it's called 'all men are bastards' and it's..(etc.)"
And I ask... murder scantly clad women? Pay them for a dance, sure (a la Duke Nukem) but killing them? unless they are demons (succubi if you will) or drug estranged hookers, I haven't seen anything like what you describe. Care to name a game like you mentioned?
Ummmmmm....probably because this is a symbol, and it's a symbol that has been very clearly and directly given a name and a function..... a practice that has been implemented since prehistoric times. An analogy may be drawn to the multitude of militant feminists who dress, wear their hair and act as much like men as they possibly can....nobody would know that they are female unless they were to verbally indicate as much. Since they (apparently) are indeed female (but certainly not Ladies) society accepts them as such and, unfortunately, accepts their strident, angry oftentimes hysterical pronouncements as being 'the voice of all women'.
Too funny! >
