Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Yeah, so I'd better go to bed and get to sleep before two. Maybe I'll have weird dreams like last night.

Woohooo!!!
I've organized a field trip for BA CHEF to see the Blackhawks! The guy that came by my house and invited me the first time has set it up for me!
We're going to tour the facility, then *hopefully* actually get to observe them taking off!

LOL!
Matthew's up and working on his school...he gets up when he hears the school bus picking the kids up for class, generally...sometimes earlier, sometimes later, depending on if he had some event that was later than usual the night before or perhaps he's going through a growth spurt. Same with Joshua, who went to bed at 9pm last night and is still asleep...he normally gets up earlier than Matthew, but is really snoring in there right now and I figure if he's sleeping that hard, he must need it. He's still recovering from being sick a while back, getting his strength up and such.
I just went in and checked on him...he's really sawing logs! :-)

None of them!
Last time, I invited Matthew's Cub Scout troop and Celeste and her family (even though they didn't do cub scouts...I just invited them, because I wanted to.)
Both the leader of Matthew's old Cub Scouts and Celeste are, um, no longer with BA CHEF.
