Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Her cats are mostly staying in the back bedroom, but either they or the dogs keep figuring out how to open the door if it's not latched all the way. So they've wandered out a little, had some hissing standoffs with my pets, but no bloodshed yet ;~D

Well, Coach Eddie Sutton (the coach of the OSU basketball team) came out and said that the auto accident he had a few days ago was caused by a mix of alcohol and pain relievers. He's had back problems for a while now since he had a fall. He's checking in to the Betty Ford clinic.
So I think I've figured out that the reason they won't graduate Steve is because they gotta pay for this coach's rehab!

I never really watched B-5, but my b-i-l loved it! I recognized the actor from the movie "The Fugitive" with Harrison Ford. He played the 'one-armed man'.

Y'all are strong prayer warriors!! SirKit called a little while ago to tell me that the meetings he had today were VEY productive. The high muckety-muck agreed to move him to a different group to be able to work almost exclusively on his research for the next few months. There's still the possibility that we'll move along somewhere else when he's done, but for now, we're here for a while.
Thanks so much, everyone, for your prayers. He was in a VEY good mood; mostly because a hugh weight had been lifted because the situation at work was getting unbearable, and now he won't have to work with that particular person anymore.

I know it.
Hey, do you have high speed internet? I don't and can't get this to work, but click here, click on campus crimes and see if they mention the town I live in as having like the #1 worst crime stats in their schools!

Naw, blow it off. I didn't want to download it either! Ha ha!
I'll go to the library and watch it.
Matthew was watching it and told me about it...said a guy from our town with a mohawk was talking about how "he weren't scared" of school crime.
Sheesh.
