Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

We think she also played the coroner on Homicide:Life on the Street.

Why awful?

We think she also played the coroner on Homicide:Life on the Street. And, you're right! She played Dr. Julianna Cox on H:LotS from 1996-1998.
I love IMDB!

I don't really know why I have that reaction to her. Probably because of that one episode where everyone got brainwiped and she and Riker thought they were lovers. Or maybe just because she struck me as a whiny type.

Thanks Bear; That was a good show, didn't realize it was nearly 10 years ago. sigh.
G'nite All.

I think I liked her character because she appeared to be one of the few members of Star Fleet who wasn't "well adjusted".
Anyway, g'night!

OK, Season 2. I wasn't sure. I think I remember her on Star Trek, but haven't seen "Guiding Light" in 26 years. I could probably start watching tomorrow and pick up the story line pretty quickly. ;o)

I love IMDB!So do we, but I hate it when the actor's pictures are not there! You'd think their managers or agents would be right on top of that! Get that face out there!!

Isn't the internet wonderful? The answer to any annoying brain teaser at your fingertips... tonight at the gym, before kickboxing the instructor had get-moving music on and I was sure I recognized the band as a contemporary Christian group - came home, googled, and it was. I'd never heard the song before and without the internet it would have nagged me for days at the back of my brain.
Little things, big things, the internet has sure changed how people live, hasn't it?

"24" was pretty good tonight! Clare and I were laughing about Jack Bauer. He shoots one guy, tries to kill the other, then on the way out he's a real sweetie to a little girl.
Whatta guy! ;o)

Nothing here yet... the weather map they just showed on the news showed some patches of T storms that were bringing snow (yes it is weird) all from where you are Northward.
I hope it stays that way till Rosie gets here... she's expecting to be here in the late AM.
