Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

But it's different when ~I~ call the meeting. Those are important and valuable. People ~like~ my meetings. It's other people's meetings that are boring and pointless. [clunk]

Man... I hadn't even thought about how the lack of meetings was such a nice benefit to this job.

Haven't heard back from the landlord, by the way. Maybe tonight.
I'm realizing I probably shouldn't have put my number in the message, since the whole point is to get this in writing. Duh.
To: RosieCotton
I don't think he'll call... I think he'll write.
I'll go over there today and ask if he got it.

I sent him a test message too, to see if I had written the address down right, and he never responded to that either.

Personnally, I am up in the air when it comes to ghosts.
I don't know weather thay are real or not.
As a Christian, who believes when we die we go to Heaven to be with God.
I wonder why they hang aroud here and haunt places.
As for unfinished business, I believe what ever business they had while alive was completed when they died.

There is a lot in the Bible that implies spiritual things without going into a lot of detail. Things like demons and unclean spirits. The most we are really told about such things are not to dabble in the occult because it is dangerous. It does make for interesting fiction though.
