Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
And there are many paths to tread
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

The wood laminate sounds nice. Pergo has some lovely floor designs, and I know there's another couple of companies that make them, but I can't remember who right now. We actually bought some wood flooring to re-do the kitchen, but then we didn't do it because we were planning to do the addition. So we still have the old vinyl and no addition yet. ;o)

Message from Taxchick via Der Net Knight via Taxrelief: Vlad (aka Daniel Edmond) has safely arrived! Weighing in a 7 lbs. 1 oz, mother and baby are doing just fine!

We watched Office Space last night. What a twisted movie and a hilarious send-up of corporate cubicle life! I loved Mel, though; "Mumble, mumble".

It was good! I did use less...it was pretty spicy, even though I only used a tablespoon.
It made everything smell of curry! My house, my hair, my family! LOL! My fridge smells of it this morning!
Strong stuff!
I loved the coconut milk, though, and would like to use it in other recipes and a nice dessert of some sort. It startled me because I thought it would be milk consistency, but it had a lot of thick stuff the consistency of butter. It made a great sauce, even before the curry got added and it's pretty low carb, so I want to find a way to make more sauces and such with it.
