Beverly Hills? I don't think I've heard that one.

I would like to hear someone sing "One More Day" (Diamond Rio). It's one of the loveliest ballads of this new century.

I know Elliott could do it well. Maybe even Bucky.

That song brought me to tears in the days after 9-11.

Because you mentioned it, I just went over to music.msn.com and bought 'Vertigo.'

:-D

I'm going to have say goodnight now--glad you're able to join us "live" again, Wolfstar :) The thread wasn't the same.

God bless and take care everybody!

Chris needs to pick a song that is really is not that great, because the original singer just didn't do a good job with it and turn it into his own with his great voice. Like what Chris did with the Fuel's song.

I am not a Johnny Cash fan but I would buy Chris' version of Walk the Line because he turned into a alt/rock song that I would listen to. (Don't get me wrong I like all types of music, including classical to even some rap songs. But I mainly listen to Adult Alt/Rock - Live, Nickleback, Goo Goo Dolls, etc)

Chris' fan base is 45 year olds and under in most cases plus he will also pull in the 13+ young male teenagers that like alt/rock, including some of the older alt/rock teenage females (16 to 19).

Chris needs to stick with what he has been doing, but he needs to sing the words clearer like he does with the songs he has on his Absent Element CD. His words are as clear as a bell on the CD and he does not sound like he is eating the mic like does on AI at times.

I was out and had to record it so I'm catching up now. I like Pickler, but she is acting stupid on purpose now. She started off quirky, and funny with her countryisms, but she's getting carried away with it. It reminds me of the class clown who gets people to laugh, and it's cute at first, but they don't know when to quit and it just goes on and on. I think she does it because it gets Simon to smile. And if a contestant can get him to smile, well that's something. She needs to quit the stupid thing though, and go back to just being unpretentious country girl.

I had a collage roommate that had never tried turkey, broccoli with cheese, or apple pie, and she was from Texas!

Never having tried something common isn't the same as never having heard of something common.

I want to hear one of the guys do "Out of My Head" by Fastball. That's a slippery tune.

Quite true! I still like Kellie, but have to agree that I liked her better ealier on. I think she's caring it a bit to far.

Now, about that roommate. Let's just say that she came from a sheltered home and there were a whole lot of first our Freshman year. I don't think her Mamma recognized her by Thankgiving, and we were at a Christian college!

I'm on the road and asked everyone from the Flight Attendants to the Cab Drivers who was out tonight!

I had to wait until I got to the hotel to hear that chicken little went home!

Thank you, FReepers!

Clyde Pickler stabbed a man, so he's doing a three year clip for attempted murder.

Hey....they could hire Anna Nicole Smith to take Paula's place.

Actually, Kathy Griffin would be fun. She's be soo off-the wall outrageous, she'd make Simon look like a nice guy.

"Cell Block Tango" from Chicago.

I actually prefer "Mister Cellophane" from Chicago to "Cell Block Tango". Then again, if I were to ever audition for a local prodcution, I'd be going for the part of Amos, so I might be biased. :)
