Thanks for being so happy to see me!!

Why wouldn't I be? :)

what are all the nicknames for the remaining folks? I know they all must have one by now. ;)

Only the bad ones have nicknames--with the exception of Bucky (we can't top "Bucky" :)

Wife was freaking out after reading Dial Idol. They were correct on 3 out of the bottom 4 but Elliott's numbers were off badly.

He was pretty upset at himself for his performance. He thought he didn't hit his notes and was down afterwards.

The Gherkin's 19 and she's never heard a tame word like "ballsy"?? I'm not buying it.

She comes for North Carolina, an Atlantic state, and she never had salmon before? That's when I knew she's as phony as a $3 bill. Salmon is so common and is used in a variety of forms. Lox and smoked. Canned. And it's the most requested fish at restaurants -- at least out here it is.

BTW, I'm listening to Roy Orbison right now, trying to decide on a song I hope Taylor might choose. Even Ace could try some Orbison, because Roy had a very high voice.

Was it uncomfortable to watch?

Very. There's no outside light in the "bunker" and apparently no air-conditioning either. If you're clastrophobic, I'd stay away from this one.

Plus, the show is filled with the usual "reality" types (flaming gay dude, jock, housewife, etc.) Boring.

Chris Isaac - *sigh*. His cover of "Solitary Man" is fantastic. I would love to see him in concert sometime.

Did Paula quit or something? Everyone's talking about her replacements.

Nah, somebody just dug up the old rumor from last year, that she was going to be replaced with Whitney Houston--Ha!

It sounds as though he is his own worst critic. When Simon says you're good, you're good. I'll make sure I vote from now on. I can't hardly believe that 147 votes made the difference between Bo and Carrie. I guess every vote does matter.

It needs to be at least an hour long. 30 minutes is too short for that kind of show to succeed.

i thought it was odd that it was only a half hour, but the twists and turns were decent. I didn't think releasing secrets about three of them was fair though. They could control who gets voted off by holding back bigger or worse secrets. When they mentioned the secrets , I thought maybe they were going to show the rest what we saw/heard, like the guy that lied about having testicular cancer in hopes of getting the sympathy vote! He's sure get kicked out for that one. I think unanimously and in a heartbeat! :)

The way they were fighting early on, I thought they would get into a fist fight!

Think her daddy is managing her career from prison?

I saw her dad in an interview this morning. He seemed like a nice guy, once you got past the organge jumpsuit. He certainly doesn't match Idol's (or Kellie's) portrayal of him.
