Was it uncomfortable to watch? Very. There's no outside light in the "bunker" and apparently no air-conditioning either. If you're clastrophobic, I'd stay away from this one.
Plus, the show is filled with the usual "reality" types (flaming gay dude, jock, housewife, etc.) Boring.
I swear that Unanimous show is almost a parody. The cheesy Enterprise-bridge set, with the Danny Bonaduce lookalike guy on the big screen giving orders. And they kept calling everything "receptacle" (box), "sleeping units" (bed), etc.
Just horrible.
