Pat Benatar is my serious suggestion. Cher would be entertaining, though.

Excellent assesment. If I hadn't watched this would be an accurate representation of where things stood at the end of the evening. I don't care for "cookie cutter Chris" that much either. I was hoping since I Walk the Line started out with an actual tune, but then he went into standard Chris mode where all of his songs sound the same. Doesn't demonstrate much range as a performer.

Doesn't it sound like he should live in a big creepy castle and fight vampires and werewolves?Nah, you're thinking of Wolfgang Van Helsing :)

Go back and watch your TiVo of the show. Nobody else got that kind of stage production. Look at the lighting. Look at the screen behind him. Everyone else just got a big close-up of their own face behind them...Chris gets the light show etc... This happened last week as well. I've noticed that and it made me wonder if the artist has creative control over the performance...like how they want the lights, camera angles, etc. If they have control over the lights then it wouldn't surprise me that someone with Chris's background would know how to put on a good light show.

I think she'd be great. She's highly trained singer, and had a very successful career. She'd probably give the contestants great advice aside from "you OWNED that!"

"I think Debbie Harry from Blondie would be fun"Grace Slick.
Now THAT would be a fun judge.

Paula says, Hes worse than ever. If they say, Paula is going crazy, the reason is Simon is whispering things in my ear, like, Whats the price of beans? Things that make no sense at all, she tells In Touch Weekly, according to MSNBCs Jeannette Walls.ROTFLMAO!!

Grace Slick would be a riot!! They would probably have to BEEP every other word that comes out of her mouth!

So what time does the Bucky send-off get started?

Dial Idol actually had Ace in last place last week if I recall correctly and that turned out to be off, so Elliot may have made the bottom three, but not be going home. Why can't we get rid of Kevin??????

Ironic that she gave that interview to "In Touch Weekly". She's so out of touch with reality.

That's my top 4 pick as well...
any of those 4 could have a very nice music career.

Actually we'll have to somehow sit through "I write the songs" or some other dreadful Manilow "classic" first.
