It's the Terrell Owensization of the league.
hehe
Seriously, one thing that once set the NFL apart was the respect for the league and the fans. Most of the guys playing today still have that mentality, but there is a sizeable sub-section of the league that doesn't give a damn about anything or anyone, so long as they get to see their own antics on sportscenter...
To: Accygirl
You can take Orton. He wasn't the difference for the Bears. The fact is if the defense showed up today for the Bears, they would have won.

I see that some others have already answered...he is probably one of the most gifted writers we have on our side.
Here is a link to some articles.

I like Steelers and Panthers...
the injuries might be hard for Carolina to deal with,
but I like the Panthers to go all the way.

They are definitely a dark horse that I had pegged before the playoffs started. I hope they do it.

The Bears' D played poorly, which is why they should have their Pro Ball invites revoked. However, Grossman was also sucking badly. It's hard to stay on your A-game if you're on the field all the time, which the D was during the first half. I'd say that the Bears should try to sign a good free agent QB instead of relying on Orton, but none are available.

I hope that wasn't too direct. It was true.

I just want to say that though I have become a Steeler fan by proxy (thank you for that maineman) I was saddened that Tony Dungy, a truly good guy, lost today. His kids attend the same private school, Berkeley Prep in Tampa, as my kids did and he always managed to attend all the family functions,
To: Accygirl
Da Bears will be back where they belong next year. 8-8 or below. One hit wonders.

I look forward to the two of you meeting on the official friday silliness thread - jokes at 10 paces. ROFL.
"ten paces" ---- Here's thinking "ten faces" wouldn't be enough to cover her lying and pretentious and needy countenance.

I'd say he did better than expected. Neither one of them will remind you of Dan Fouts.

Foster fractured his ankle! Damn.
To: Accygirl
I think Bengals' back-up QB Kitna will be available, and he wants to start (if he goes back to Cincy he'll be back-up if Carson can recover).

Apparently, unfortunately, it can't be challenged. I didn't see the flinch myself, although Dierdorf said he did.
FOR THE LAST TIME, YOU CAN'T CHALLENGE PENALTIES!!! YOU GOT THAT WRONG IN THE ROSE BOWL THREAD TOO!!!
To: diamond6
Not good, that is definitely not good news. Goings will have to step up.I still like them though...just a hunch.
The first starter Stephen Davis is the best back and he has been out for awhile....now Foster. damn
