Pittsburgh vs. Indianapolis 1:00 PM EST
Carolina vs. Chicago 4:30 PM EST
You have an irresistible urge to bounce a quarter off that and then chew on it.
The Panthers are punting.
I've never made excuses. The Pats lost the game on their own, but that interference call was terrible no matter how you slice it. Pointing out a bad call isn't making excuses, it's dealing with reality. A few years ago the league aplogized to my Steelers FOUR times for blown calls late in games that arguably cost them the game (and with those 4 losses a playoff birth), after blown call #3 or 4 Bill Cowher echoed my sentiments exactly "it would be nice if the refs got the calls right on the field, but we shouldn't have been in a position for one call to cost us the game". So there's no excuses coming from me, but there have been a horde of simply pathetic calls this weekend.
No I asked the last time Denver lost IN Denver in the post season.
LOL I know. : )
Proof that God's not a chick.
They sure did. Sniff.
Chewing on quarters will wreck your teeth.
That's poise right there.
Wouldn't the quarter chip your tooth? : )
Must've been a real cliff hanger of a game. I regret I missed it, but glad the Steelers won.
Time to forage for food ... BBL
I honestly don't know which call was worse; the Polamanu interception that was overturned on "review" or the sack of Manning that should have been a safety (the ball was at least partially in the end zone between the instant before he was hit and the moment he was down).
Dome kickers aren't so tough when they're not kicking with a five touchdown lead.
Mr. RR and sons just returned home from the Denver game. (six hour drive for us) We have the tickets for the game next weekend. Club level, fifth row, seats 1, 2, 3, and 4. I'm really glad the Stillers won...........we like homefield advantage.
See you next weekend.
That said, if my beloved Broncos should lose, I turn into a Steelers fan.
Oooh in Denver, wasn't that when Jacksonville beat the m their 2nd year in the league?
Oh the interception definetly. I'm still stunned by that one.
It turned into a cliff-hanger ... the Steelers were up 21-3 before the Colts ... um ... made a game of it. Check some of the up-thread commentary.
Those aren't domes, those are.......
wait my wife is in the room.
