Obligatory cute animal pic! (the kid is pretty cute too)
FRmail me if you want on or off the F/S Singles' Thread Ping List. It will only be used for pinging to the official thread, and will never be used for any other purpose.
This is a thread for singles, not a thread about the misery of singleness -- no moping allowed! :-)

Gargle warm salt water. It does wonders for a sore throat, very healing.
Zinc tablets are supposed to be good for a sore throat also

but the other week I forgot to turn mine off in church, and it rang during the silent prayer time. I was soooo embarrassed! I read something about that for someone else, the preacher pointed his finger at them and said "that better be God calling". :^)

The worst characteristics that I can think of are:
unfaithfulness
inability to work out problems, or refusal to try
refusal to communicate
wanting to spend all or most of free time with "the boys" rather than together
not enjoying family life
emotional and physical abuse alcohol and drug abuse addiction to pornography lying
gambling
wanting me to support him
not sharing in the household responsibilities

Yes, Zinc works great. And it may just be a placebo effect but I swear by Echinacea for anything virus related--good evening BTW.
To: pcottraux; Dashing Dasher
Zicam seems to work for me, just discovered it recently.
To: TheresaKett
Most cars built after 1996 store data from instances in time when certain sensor thresholds are met like slamming on the brakes, accidents, or airbag deployment.
They do NOT store all data about the car's condition while operating like some privacy nuts will claim.
To: Goodgirlinred; ozarkgirl
Those are all bad, too, but the one I listed is still the worst.

Gargle warm salt water. It does wonders for a sore throat, very healing. Works as good as anything that you can buy.Mom used to give us hot honey mixed with lemon juice/extract too.
The worst stuff I ever was given was this concoction called "Save the Baby".It has a taste that 30+ years later I can`t find words to describe.

Oh yeah, Eckerds, CVS, most stores.
Not cheap, $5 a box but I have never seen anything that
works as good, especially if you can catch it when you are
just starting to get symptoms.
Come in all kinds of groovy flavors too.

Never heard of it. I came down with something last week, but I just used a store-brand Nyquil rip-off and it worked fine.
