And now, the first *official* Freddy Dinkelmeyer cartoon:
After the first few I had done, a few people had read what I was drawing. But personally, I was not satisfied with the way it was going. One day early in the school year I decided to change it completely. I tossed the graphic notebook aside, got a regular notebook, and begin drawing the cartoon as a STRIP SERIES. I gave the main character a name, gave the strip a name as well, “The Dinkelmeyer Zone,” and began putting more work and detail into it.
So Freddy Dinkelmeyer, as his new name became, had his second first day of High School. I hope this is legible and readable enough for everyone. My handwriting is not the neatest in the world, and the old notebook has been stored in boxes for years.
This is it now. There’s no going back. We are delving into Dinkelmeyer’s world now, and we’ve passed the point of no return. Hold on to your seats.
Yeah, he's the best, isn't he? I predict you'll like the talking pig as well...but htat's for later.

Wonderful cartoons- the drawing is really good. I didn't "get" the punchline on the first, only because I've never heard/seen "lucha wrestlers"!!!!!!!!!! NOW, I get it: LOL!!!!!!!!!!! (Takes me awhile.)

I knew the lucha wrestler thing might go over a few heads. I'm not sure if it really means anything about Vicente Fox, or if I just thought it would be funny to do something like that.
