Battlestar.... Ahh yes, ronnie moore's allegory on the war on terror, complete with the virtual slut in the red dress, the dyke starbuck, and poor missunderstood villan, baltar, who sold out the human race so he could get his rocks off.

Have you actually watched the BSG remake series itself? Or have you just read disgruntaled fan reviews?

After the mini-series, the writers and actors decided to increase the quality of the series greatly and it shows.

While you may disagree with some of the changes, the the new BattleStar series has so far been great with plot and character developement.

And two notes: I have not notice any anti-wars messages, actually quite the opposite.

And the new Starbuck is not dyke. She's a babe, who likes men. There is a great subplot in the previous episode dealing with a bad desision on her part that got her previous lover killed.

As a fan of the original Battlestar, I was skeptical of the new show. I watched the miniseries. I was like ok, I'll give the show a chance. I have been hooked on the show ever since.

I do like the President also.

Cute quiz. My car sort of reminds me of the Millennium Falcon. It's in the shop now.
You scored as Millennium Falcon (from Star Wars). The world around you is at war. Fortunately you know how to handle that with the greatest of ease. You are one of the best at what you do and no one needs to tell you that. Now if only the droids could be quiet for five seconds.

Coming on December 1, 2005:
Your Ultimate Sci-Fi Profile: which sci-fi crew would you best fit in? The Sequel

Millennium Falcon (from Star Wars)

88%

Nebuchadnezzar (from The Matrix)

81%

Moya (from Farscape)

75%

SG-1 (from Stargate)

75%

Enterprise D (from Star Trek)

69%

Serenity (from Firefly)

69%

Galactica (from Battlestar: Galactica)

44%

Bebop (from Cowboy Bebop)

38%

I got BSG season 1 for Christmas...now that it's available, I have to go buy season two.

I couldn't believe they hung a "to be continued" on us tonight.

Usually I'd be excited, BUT Then Came Bronson is coming on the Speed channel in about five minutes. Haven't seen it in over thirty years.

Goin' down that long lonesome highway
Bound for the mountains and the plains
Sure ain't nothing here gonna tie me
And I got some friends I'd like to see again

I'd wait until Season 2 really finishes and see what they do, since it's really just the first half of season 2 that's on DVD. Probably when the second half is done they'll sell that seperate and have another box with the whole season 2 that'll probably be cheaper than the others together. Still one hour from BSG here. Saw the PT1 though so I knew it was a hanger.
