New thread for this week.
Congrats to all new members who joined this week!
We've made excellent progress so far and have smoked the DUmmies and Kossacks. Let's keep folding!
it says---you are attempting to open a dat file.
It would nice to see science find a cure.
But when when a poster that I've not seen on FR before starts using FR's name and asking people for the use if their CPU's so that they can beat the pants off off the loons at the DU and Daily Kos ... and then calls Jim a grumpy old Conservative and a fuddy duddy because he questioned it
Well .. to be honest .. it sparked my attention and concern
Clara .. you've been here long enough to know that trolls tend to come here and pretend to be something that they are not.
I am NOT saying these posters are trolls .. but can you not understand what I was trying to find out and my concern??
I will say no more and if y'all what to sign your CPU's up for this .. that is you business, not mine
I have a seperate icon that says---FAHlog text document.

That's a whole lot of folding going on. :)
If you're really serious about doing your homework, please check out the Top100 folding teams at http://fah-web.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=teamstats
You'll probably be amazed that most of the top teams are tech communties where people know a few things about computers/privacy/security, etc.
I guess what bothered Klutz and a few others, is the fact that noone seemed to care enough to read up on folding.

It is on notepad.
I have read it, thank you
not yet. You can get your dos box back, by simply clicking on the Red O again.
If this is your first reboot, since you loaded it, it's running as a service. You can confirm this, by hitting ctrl-alt-delete, clicking on the processes tab, and look for FAH502-console.exe and FahCore_XX.exe ( where XX is the number of the core, ie, 78, 82,.. ) If both of these are running, then you're still folding away.
Fahstats added a countdown script to the top of each page.
http://fahstats.com/t.php?t=36120
Now it's much easier to figure out how their stats compare to official Stanford stats.
When I do that, it starts downloading again but it shows me as anonymous team 0.
It looks like it lost the work. Like Klutz said, hit CTRL-ALT-DELETE and look for FahCore_XX.exe. If the service is running, you should see that task in the list, taking up most of your CPU time.
Search for the 'work' directory on your computer - the log file said that it created a new one, so it might be located elsewhere.
Is there a file in there called client.cfg ?
That's not showing up in my list. Just, posting comment---new folder---and FAHlog-notepad. It shows those three running.
Yes, it's an icon.
