Trend Micro causes Firefox to crash and Internet Explorer is simply not an option. I have Avast anti-virus but that crashes on start-up too. I wonder who the heck created this worm.
That's what I've always told the kids, New Years is the best night to pick a place and stay there. Not a good night to travel around.
Why isn't IE an option? Won't run?
"Thank you. They are for sale. :)"
Hmmmmm.
HMMMMMMMM.
For Sale? Wondering if I could just rent them by the hour and take them for walks in the park? Would this help me find a Righteous, Virtuous Woman to marry this next year?
If not, never mind. ;^)
No. This malware basically nuked IE.
Wait until you are a dad and you'll understand. My oldest is 16 and just sarting to drive. Not tomorrow night, though.
The fireplace looks wonderful, especially after your pictures of the snow last weekend. We are searching for a house and I hope we get to have a fireplace as well. So, how's the old homestead?
Well...sounds like a rebuild may be in order, then. Have you tried McAfee's Stinger tool? Sometimes that works, though it only catches some worms.
Probably where I'll be.
Got that right.I don`t always do well with the moderation thing, hard to get into trouble at home.
Oh, and it MIGHT still run in Safe Mode with Networking - you know how to get into that, right? Hit F8 before Windows starts loading?
Since it only starts essential processes, usually it leaves the viral process out, and you're able to get in and run cleaning tools.
They built humungous shrines to the equinox.
We love puppies!
Yeah, eventually. Guess we humans have always been a bit obsessed with marking time in some way, haven't we? It's an odd thing, really.
What an idiot kid I must have been. I understand how Dad must have felt that night.
I'll second that!
Kitties, too...but they're a little harder to take for a walk in the park, as a general rule.
The homestead is fine,as long as the mercury stays above 0.
It is like trying to heat outdoors when it gets 20-40 below.
True, I always say, if you're going to spend a night at home and break out the sparkling grape juice, it's the best night.
I'll never forget a friend of mine, on the way home to our small town, the car in front of him turned a 180 and then proceeded on. Good night to stay home!!
Do you have plans then? I don't. Christmas is special but New Year's doesn't mean a lot to me.
Paul, one possibility is that you have multiple antivirus systems, etc. fighting each other.
Be SURE you have everything backed up that you need to save.
Reboot and hit F8
Select SAFE mode.
See how it acts.
If it acts healthier (display will be different) then FReepmail me.
No plans here either, just a normal day.
