A LOT of folks had better wake up to the fact that they intend to do away with Christanity and all must become Muslims, or you die, simple as that.

Found this in my inbox, might be alcohol-related...

"I am an Army Aviator, and in 1984 I saw this on a wall inside the bar of a Norwegian Air Force Base Officer's Club and it has been my resolution since:

‘I will not drink! But if I do, I will not get drunk.
But if I do, I will not stagger, and I will not fall.
But if I do, I will fall face down, to cover my Wings!’"
--Dwight, Major, U.S. Army, Retired (Mount Dora, FL)

You're 100% right about that, Toby. We need only listen to their own words to know it, although the media does everything it can to hide that simple fact.

We're here, sweetie. Just let us know if/when we can help. If you need some time to sort things out, we understand and care. And we're lifting you up in prayer constantly.

God bless you, dear one!

A bit of bad news here on the farm.

Our youngest grandson has had the flu for the last 4 days. His Mom took him the to Dr today because he hasn't been able to keep anything down.

Long story/short: They've kept him at the Drs office all day, rather than hosptialize him. They tried to put an IV in to hydrate him, he fought like hell. Finally around 2:30 they were able to get an IV inserted into his foot.

The older kids are here. Son has gone to assist his wife.

I'm ordering Pizza from the local c/store. We'll take the kids home at bedtime, or keep them here all night. Still flying by the seat of our pants.

Oh goodness! I hope the IV helps quickly and he soon is over this mess and is back to scampering around.

Hope the older kids don't wear you out too much ... or maybe keeping them busy will be an insomnia preventative.

Prayers lifted. Dehydration is a pernicious thing.

There is nothing worse than seeing a young child so sick, Iowa Granny. I'll pray he gets hydrated and well very, very soon. This must be a worry for you all.

I'm watching two young beautiful Black soldiers on FNC who have returned from Iraq. They have both said, several times, that their service in Iraq is something they are more proud of than anything else in their lives. The young woman lost half her left arm and she is left handed, but she's still grateful for her service and would go again even if she knew the outcome would be the same. They both also say they were treated very well by the Iraqi people who were very glad they were there.

My LES reflects that I'll get the last of my Alaska pay in early January. It's the first sign that I've seen that it's really going to get paid.

I've figured out the names, and they are final. Spooky is Spooky Six D***. Cayanne is Cayanne Check D***. Their team name is Check Six. They are to be called using their middle name, Check, or Six, only when in trouble. Just like home.

So... you wind up with a SSgt yelling "CHECK SIX" while staring down at two kittens that are lighting each other up in a free-fer-all (in my chair). Twice tonight.

Gotta love 'em.
