Peeking in. We've been watching John Wayne ever since my Mom and Stepdad left around 3:00.

I agree with the educators, journalism majors, entertainers theory. It fits nicely with the concept someone (tillacum?) posted here about the hippies of the '60's "plan" to take over by working their way up the chain into various positions of authority.

Back to the Tube.

When I sober up... we have the technology.... 8>)

SIL and daughter drove me home tonight. The other papa fell asleep on the couch(I can drink him under the table... lord, I never want to again...). I've forgotten more Cambodian language than I ever expected.

BTW, Pop says Pol Pot was a real whirling son of a #itch. And killed a lot of people.

Just in case anyone needed filler information about the SE Asian war that we walked away from.

Pop doesn't want this war to end up like Viet Nam. The left may be fighting the last war, but the right might also. We could have won that one, except for the media.

We watched "The Quiet Man" today. Hubby has gone to bed. I am hanging on for another half hour or so hoping that I will get a good night's sleep. This waking at 3AM is for the birds.

I started going through the plant and seed catalogues this afternoon (about the time that a James Bond DVD was inserted in the player).

The snow has now turned to rain. Blech.

LOL! I don't remember who posted about wedding greetings for me after spending today at the out-law's house.

I was offered a wife. I begged off, explaining that I had a couple of kittens and a nasty pipe to smoke and that would even things out in the end.

NO N-WORD.

Good evening. We're back from my parents and pooped but we had a very nice day with them. I'm kind of creeped out because we got home and our pedestrian door into the garage was wide open and neither of us used it today. So I've had my husband check the house, and I've checked under the beds. No scary movies for me for a while. LOL

Wow! You are the only person I know who was offered a wife for Christmas, not of their own selection. I stand in AWE.

Have you checked for anything of value that might be missing?

We had kids in our house while we were gone once. They made a mess but didn't take anything (just rearranged stuff) It's a real deep feeling of violation.

Try to stay up awhile to assess what might be missing, so you can call authorities at once.

We're not missing anything but we are staying up for a while, primarily because I'm creeped out.

Our first apartment was broken into and I was the first one home and came back to the mess. It felt like far more of a violation than I'd expected, especially because they went through the dresser bureaus and our clothes, etc.

This is probably nothing, but I'm sleeping with some lights on tonight and am trying to talk myself out of locking the bedroom door. LOL

Think I'd better go read a book; maybe Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farms :-) See you tomorrow.

Oh, that is funny and boy, did I ever predict it! HA! Forewarned is forearmed. Or is that five-armed? Doesn't matter, at least you were prepared.

I just dropped and did 20 to impress the cats. They did NOT do push-ups.

Yes, you did predict it. Or something like it.

NO NEW WIFE!!! I DON'T NEED A WIFE!

That would be policy. Here, at least.

NO WIFE!

Obviously, I'm not getting the message across, somewhere.

However, if I could get someone to teach the cats to do pushups... Maybe we could talk... ;>

I just climbed over a fence, explaining to the annoying creatures on the other side that I would.... er... rock their world.... when I got to them. And then the annoying creatures disappeared.

And the police took a statement, and all is right with the world.

/johnny.... jerks. I would have... rocked their world... grump....

OH! The trees. I don't have an english name for them (yet). John and I talked with pap about them. Mom has a bunch of the trees on her property, and the flowers do sell for good $$s.

I'm going into the farming business with my daughter's FIL, because he has a market that I know, and we can cut out the middleman.

I only have about 1/4 acre here, but the frenchman has a half. And someone has a vision, and someone has a market.

What more do you need besides blind devotion and stupid adherence?

Don't need a rope. Didn't actually carry when I moved over the fence (to mom's other property). Simple confrontation of wrongdoing works well. Unless it doesn't. Next time, I'll make sure I'm packing.

I thought that was ON MY HIP!

10-15 years, probably.

If you take cuttings from the tree you MIGHT be able to have a blooming tree in 10 years, depending on the size of the cutting.

Agriculture, as it pretains to trees, is a long, slow process and it not an industry for the impatient.

The flowers grow on stuff that I call 'scrub'. Small stuff. I ignore it except for the FIL. Branches are little girl finger sized. Trunks are about a dime around.

What bothers me most is that I was raised in this stuff.... AND NEVER saw it bloom. granted, I had cowgirls to look at &ct... but I've never seen these flowers, and they bloom here.

The trees exist already. Since daddy passed, we've got lots of trees in the pond.

Why did I never see those flowers?

And what else am I missing?
