The wrong shall fail, the right revail,
With Peace on Earth, Good Will to Men."

I'm resting up from earlier labors and trying to wait until these older kids go to bed so Santa can stuff their stockings.

I'll have a great day, nodding to things I do NOT understand. I won't be surprised if, on Monday, you tell us about your upcoming nuptuals.

I am finally down for the night.
Long day entertaining pixies and cooking more.
Pixies are upstairs with their mom fast asleep. She worked a 24 hr shift.
Bro and my girlchild will wrap gifts after they take care of Santa's cookies and milk.

Christmas Eve is often a loooong day. I do my very best to pre-make and plan, but still, there it is, I'm always doing prep into the night.
But that goes to my work style. I cannot keep going and going. I have to pace myself and take breaks and come back to it. Otherwise I am too worn out to enjoy the day when it gets here.

"I am running low on Diet Coke." Isn't that funny? I had that very same thought as I headed home today. (I don't drink it, but I need it for some guests.) I figured that surely if I ran out, there would be a convience store open that I could get some. ;-)
Merriest Christmas to you and yours.

AACK!!! NOT!!!! I help people get married. I don't do that myself anymore. I just got a home and catz. I'm years away from thinking about... that.
Lord, I just got here. Don't let something disturb my peace. Please. Amen.

We were the toothless old wonders that went outside to smoke, checked out the pond, which is about 12 ft low because of the drought, the concrete pond, where the fish are tiny and the tree leaves are not cleaned out well enough, and the geese, which we agree need to be fatter, but would be good, if stringy.
He also pointed out a tree that flowers in the spring, and the flowers bring $$s in the asian markets. I promised to pick the flowers, pack them, and send them to him to sell. We'll split the cash with mom. (I've got more cash than that in the side pocket of the truck, but it's a deal)

Do you know what these blossoms are? And what is the value?
Interesting.

He didn't know the english word, and even though I grew up with those trees, I don't either. I don't remember seeing them bloom either. He said they only have flowers for a day.
He didn't have the word in french either (not that he likes to speak french, he's still PO'd at the french). I need to not try french with him. He gets p!$$y.
He gave me a word in Cambodian that I didn't get.
He told me $3/lb, but if that's what he's saying, they probably sell in the market for $30/lb. I know him that well. He's an opportunist. ;>)
Edible flowers in Texas are EXPENSIVE. I've paid over $50 for about a half pound for a special event. I know THAT side of the market.

LOL! I pulled a bunch of swiss army knives out of boxes today, only most were made by swedes. Ericsson gave pocket knives out at every meeting at divisional level or above. They all have prominant cork-screws.
This is the only time I miss working for a Swedish company. They do know how to party. One step behind the Japanese. Two steps in front of us.

I don't know of a tree flower that only lasts one day.
Facinating stuff.

She's standing on my shoulder. She clocks out at 0700 and clocks in at 1900. I don't know what alternate universe she transports to, but I know when to look for her.
Otherwise, she's disappeard.
Spooky. (shivvver)

I need to be up bright and early to start all over againThat's the part I hate. I keep doing it, but I don't like it.
I'll press John for an answer tomorrow. Pop was pretty specific about the kind of tree. He told me he had one in his yard. Mom has dozens. When I can get John to translate, Pop and I have some pretty productive discussions.
