He didn't know the english word, and even though I grew up with those trees, I don't either. I don't remember seeing them bloom either. He said they only have flowers for a day.

He didn't have the word in french either (not that he likes to speak french, he's still PO'd at the french). I need to not try french with him. He gets p!$$y.

He gave me a word in Cambodian that I didn't get.

He told me $3/lb, but if that's what he's saying, they probably sell in the market for $30/lb. I know him that well. He's an opportunist. ;>)

Edible flowers in Texas are EXPENSIVE. I've paid over $50 for about a half pound for a special event. I know THAT side of the market.
