To be covered by Medicare for those who can't afford it.

Maybe we can arrange to have it dumped into the water supply.

So with that pill, women will no longer be able to use PMS, or their period as an excuse to be a bitch...

Sounds like a good idea to me.

And when the first woman claims (justly or unjustly) to have been harmed by this,a thousand lawsuits will bloom!

And 15 years from now, Ovarian, Uterine and Breast Cancer rates will be seen to skyrocket. And millions of women will wonder "Why?"

Medicaid already covers the birth control pill. Why would this be any different? And if the woman has painful menstruations, I have NO more problem funding this than with funding medicaid in general.

SGM Littlejohn used to say, "You can't trust somethin' that'll bleed for four days and not die."

I think that should read "the bottom of a long glass tube."

I take birth control pills to control my cycles (one year, my body corresponded with every major holiday and my birthday). I'm not going to take this new Seasonale pill, however, I will probably start taking it maybe 1 month before my wedding and honeymoon, just in case.

Who will be the first to come out and call this pre-emptive abortion? I wonder how many pharmacists will refuse to dispense this one?

That's all I need to know! Do they accept private contributions?

Duh! That does not compute. Any woman who is eligible for Medicare (senior citizen) will have already passed menopause.

Well, from make-up, to push-up bras, to enhancements, to eyelifts, nose jobs, volumizers, hair coloring, etc., the average female is pretty much fake and artificial anyway. Will this new pill make them behave?

parsy, who like Donne, hopes not for reason from women.
