We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good evening!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
TWU Local 100 agreed to go back to work in New York, ending the illegal transit strike there. Two million dollars worth of fines, pending appeal to a New York State Appellate Court, has been levied against the union local, and Gov. Pataki has said they will not be waived. No change in the negotiating position of either the union local or the City of New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority has occurred, and there exists the possibility of another walkout.
Saddam at his trial indicated the United States is "the number one liar in the world." The trial has been adjourned until January 24, 2006. In other words, so far, there have been four or five court days and weeks upon weeks of nothing.
And President Bush stated "it's been a good year for the American people."
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Caue, the Chairman.
Yah, she was a Clintox mouthpiece [sorry] and was also sorry when she and Greasealdo [new and good!] jumped ship over to FNC. FEH!
AWW Great.
Hi, Santa's coming back, just under the radar... Day after tomorrow! At 0400 when the kiddos rouse themseves.. Premake the coffee... Or chill the brewskis! ;)
I'm about ready to hit the sack. I had planned on filling the socks tonite, but my feet and legs are killing me, and I'm going to leave it until morning.
Nite All, till tomorrow. Sleep well.
Let it go and get some rest! You've done enough!
Out! Good night, all!
If you only understood just how much NEEDED to be done you'd be admonishing me for FReeping when I should be working.
I'm going to set the alarm for early. I have a final step to a salad and other things which need to be done early in the day in order to be ready mid afternoon.
I'm off. Rest well, dear friend.
I'd never admonish a FReeper, I don't have to listen to an alarm for nine days. It's good for me! Go snooze and then get up and do your thing! Git-R-Done![TM]
OK, out. Period! [Until tomorrow!]
New thread is up!!
I got the package...and thank you for the books....sorry I was late in replying..
How are you holding up during the Christmas rush? I used to really not like Christmas when I worked in the pharmacy, I wouldn't get home until 8 or so in the evening on Christmas Eve. I'll never forget the joy I felt when I handed in my 2 weeks notice 10 days before Christmas. One of the best Christmas holiday seasons I have ever spent.
Tired UG....tired.
I finally got smart after several years of late customers on Christmas Eve. They were always filling 'emergency' prescriptions at 7:05 pm (five minutes after we were supposed to be closed.) I knew the prescripstions weren't emergencies because the customer(s) always called to see what time we closed. And then they would show up right before closing. We finally decided to tell anyone who called that we closed an hour earlier than the actual closing time.
The other part I really hated about retail and Christmas was that we were stuck in one spot in the pharmacy. People would ask us questions about merchandise (which we didn't know because we dispensed medication, not Cabbage Patch dolls.) And then they would yell at us (me) for whatever was out of stock and it was always something that they really really needed for Christmas. For some reason, the sales really brought out the worst in some people.
Well, I can't sleep. I may just go grocery shopping right now and miss the crowds. That's all I have left to do, well that and cook today. I think the only problem with my plan is that I need some fresh shrimp and the meat counter is closed at 3:30 am.
Thanks, Dolly. That's now my background on my computer,
I thought it was beautiful
