We will not tire, we will not falter, and we will not fail!
Good evening!!
Do not let the victims of the attacks on New York and Washington, nor the brave members of our Nation's military who have given their lives to protect our freedom, die in vain!!
TWU Local 100 agreed to go back to work in New York, ending the illegal transit strike there. Two million dollars worth of fines, pending appeal to a New York State Appellate Court, has been levied against the union local, and Gov. Pataki has said they will not be waived. No change in the negotiating position of either the union local or the City of New York's Metropolitan Transportation Authority has occurred, and there exists the possibility of another walkout.
Saddam at his trial indicated the United States is "the number one liar in the world." The trial has been adjourned until January 24, 2006. In other words, so far, there have been four or five court days and weeks upon weeks of nothing.
And President Bush stated "it's been a good year for the American people."
For AMERICA - The Right Way, I remain yours in the Caue, the Chairman.
That is adorable. Thanks for the Christmas chuckle!
LOL
Welcome! Sorry, was distracted by female company... ;) It's a good thing!
Well, for Gawd's sake, don't sit here freepin'!!!! Get back to her!!!!!
hello
peeking in for a little rest. I've been on my feet a great deal again today and it is beginning to show.
I have some kitchen clean up to do, but the cooking is done for tonite. As soon as my rolls are cool enough to pop into the plastic bags I'll go finish up.
I am so annoyed with Eden Lane. I ordered several door mats from them and some Tupperware-like storage containers and none of it has shown up. The mailman will probably deliver then tomorrow while we're opening our gifts. Bah Humbug. Never again do I give them a dime. The charges were on my Dec. 1 charge card billing, but the package still hasn't arrived.
I absolutely LOVE the way you give the young men such gentle encouragement :>)
(and perhaps you've been hanging around with me too long. You're beginning to sound exactly like me!!)
/johnny
Hey Jim, did you get your package yet???If not I will have them do a search. I mailed it on Monday.
Seems like an even trade. 8>)
/johnny
Stupidly, I thought I'd check out Hannity & Colmes for a few minutes and there was a young woman on arguing that Johnny Lihnd should be released because he's entitled to free speech and talk about jihad and killing Americans.
What unadulterated baloney. I swear, the leftists are getting loonier every single day and are intent on destroying intelligent conversation.
Back to book reading. I have flour in my hair and must wash it before bed.
Get some good rest; it sounds like you've worked VERY hard; I'm feeling a little guilty that we're having such a quiet Christmas this year listening to all the work you are doing.
LOL
I consider that a great compliment.:-)
Howdy.:)
Keep us posted.;^)
I thought, 3 days before Christmas, and this is the best they can do???
I watched Roseanne re-runs instead.
Is it asking too much to have some positive programming at this time of year?
Between O'Really and Blabbity and Crumbs they've really had some real Quizmeisters on tonite.
Never feel guilty because you are able to have a reasonable celebration without knocking yourself silly.
If I could reach inside the screen I would scratch Alan Crumbs eyes out tonite.
One of the movie channels is showing a really, really, really old version of "A Christmas Carol" at 9:00..........think I'll go watch & relax & snack on something yummy.:)
I will. We are comfortable with each other, and that's SO good. She's from Savanna, GA, a southern gal, transplanted as her kid is in University here. We also work together, but not close contact. I would relate unsalivary details, but have beat out two rival pawing, grinning gladhanders. It's GOOD to be a Gentleman.
This is the thread I told you about. We are quite civil here and there aren't many loonies here like you've been running into on the news side. Well, there are a few exceptions to the Loonie part, but they're OUR LOONIES, and so we patronize them.
Hi, no alarm clock for 9 days... That may make me a Canadian dollar coin... ;)
