DiGeorge Syndrome or not, the child was 7 lbs at death. That is clearly abuse/murder.

These people sound like hippy-vegan-natural food idiots. Those diets are VERY unhealthy for babies and children.

What in the world were they THINKING?
What were the feeding this baby and the other children?

They might be vegetarians. A vegetarian diet does a number on your body. You can actually have convulsions for LACK OF PROTEIN. Soy and other nonsense is not enough protein for a normal, healthy body.

They should never be allowed to go near these children.
To: KC_Conspirator
6 month old should be on breast milk.

"What were the feeding this baby and the other children?"
"Woyah, who was fed only wheat grass, coconut water and almond milk"
As for what they were thinking, I'd imagine some along the lines of "Like woah man, peace"

"Woyah, who was fed only wheat grass, coconut water and almond milk. The Andressohns believe in a diet of raw, uncooked foods. " Sick B@stards to do that to your children.

They have been living with a relative since the infant's death. Hopefully a relative that eats food.
Assholes.

I said that the first time this was posted...that the child needed to be breast fed. Even if Mom was on this wacked diet, at least some of her own stores would have been pulled into the milk. It would've been way better than what they were 'feeding' it.
Geez, like what-- 200 Kcal per day!?!?

Depends on the type of vegetarian. There are vegetarians who eat animal products. Whether that be eggs or the like. Then, there are vegans who eat absolutely no animal products. As much as I like meat, it is possible to get enough protein without eating meat. These people were obviously vegans.

I believe in a good, healthy lifestyle but, these folks sound like they were experimenting on their children. They should have known something was wrong and taken that kid to a doctor.

I can think of something organic they ought to make those parents eat. In fact, i am willing to contribute some to the cause.

They were extremists....
Vegans can get a lot of protein in the right sources (edemame, soy, nuts, TVP etc) but these guys were eating foods with little to no protein.
Heck, I don't see many sources for calories in general!

Have you ever seen a truly happy vegan? I haven't, most of them are bitter and preachy people, who demand that you conform to their ways.
