A leader needs to have some kind of consensus to lead. If the bottom falls out of Bloomie, he will oficially be a lame duck before he is sworn into his second 4-year term in office. And yet Hillary wont even take a position... Some great wisdom and leadership she could offer all of us...

My sign got a lot of thumps up and whistles this morning. Even some eye rolls from freezing police officers manning intersections.

"FINE THEM!" "FIRE THEM!" "JAIL THEM" "F THE TWU!"

(There is a song there somewhere) The rock band Tesla sung a re-make of the original. I'm not sure who sang the original though.

I do not miss NYC. You couldn't pay enough money to live in NYC. Never. No way.

Quite a few people took my pic and at least one News crew videotaped me. Up turned thumps, smiles and whistles at my sign.

OK - I feel for the folks in NYC being inconvenienced by it, and now understand the financial ramifications that I didn't understand during the last strike.......but come on..........when did NYC get infested with so many whining crybabies? Having just returned from the "city without foreplay" and having had to get a cab to take me to JFK ,I can say that NY' ers are a noble and brave bunch who are conducting themselves with humor, dignity and restraint. This is a disater on every level, and no one I saw was whining.

I'm glad to hear that..........but I would not know it from what I have heard on the media.

They must all be listening to Air America.

..........but I would not know it from what I have heard on the media. That is correct, as of yesterday. You should read the NY Post today...scathing articles on the strike, the strike leader, and less than positive comments from the disgruntled commuters.Businesses are unable to open, and many people just can't walk miles to work in the cold. There is some talk of Toussaint being removed from his union position because he is being viewed as being out of control. The mayor is outraged and Hillary! has not yet been hears from.I guess her cell phone won't work from her limousine.

To: finnman69
Are they on strike or not? I can't tell looking at the pictures.
