Now we know why they did not call it a "Christmas Tree"
Sorry, but every time we drive by this "Holiday Tree" on the north/west corner of Palm Drive & Pierson Boulevard, it does not remind us of Christ's birth. Instead, it reminds some of us of a real stupid movie shown a long time ago.
This has got to be the ugliest Christmas tree I have ever seen in a city. Post your pics of trees ugly and beautiful. I'll try to find picture of tree here in China to post.
Merry Christmas to all!
Just damn. That thing looks like a spider dipped in fluorescent paint.
It looks good at 100 miles if you squint real hard and look the other direction. It ain't too bad. Sarc off!
Looks like a flourescant tp job.
It's shaped that way to withstand those Desert Hot Springs howling winds!
Maybe it's an upside down Jelly Fish tree?
Makes me wonder about enforcing political correctness on the modeling industry. Ugly people should be proportionally represented in the modeling business with 99% of all models being anywhere from Plain Jane to Big Bertha.
While we're at it, non-pine trees should be proportionally represented in the holiday tree business. If you should happen to live in a desert or plain with no trees, you might have to settle for a holiday scrub... I mean holiday shrub.
I know it is unsafe to do, but I close my eyes (in embarrassment) when I pass this thing.
When they announced at the city that they were putting up a holiday tree, some people got upset because the city did not call it a Christmas Tree. After everyone saw it, no one said another word about it being called a holiday tree. Oh, Sarc Off!!!
also we should have a super-duper violence tax on Hollywood movies ... it's for the children and we are just trying to save lives...
I've seen prettier fast food signs.
Right now I'm very glad to be Jewish.
Mazel Tov, bubbeleh!
