Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Home is behind, the world ahead
New verse:
Upon the hearth the fire is red, Beneath the roof there is a bed; But not yet weary are our feet, Still round the corner we may meet A sudden tree or standing stone That none have seen but we alone. Tree and flower and leaf and grass, Let them pass! Let them pass! Hill and water under sky, Pass them by! Pass them by! |
|
|
Still round the corner there may wait A new road or a secret gate, And though we pass them by today, Tomorrow we may come this way And take the hidden paths that run Towards the Moon or to the Sun. Apple, thorn, and nut and sloe, Let them go! Let them go! Sand and stone and pool and dell, Fare you well! Fare you well! |
|
Home is behind, the world ahead, And there are many paths to tread Through shadows to the edge of night, Until the stars are all alight. Then world behind and home ahead, Well wander back to home and bed. Mist and twilight, cloud and shade, Away shall fade! Away shall fade! Fire and lamp, and meat and bread, And then to bed! And then to bed! |

Speaking of Christmas, I'd better get in one more viewing of your DVD soon so I can send it on to XGI. I'm loathe to part with it.

I dunno what makes sense. If'n I don't get a job here pretty quick, I may not be here come summer - and I believe Jen's planning to take an internship for a job back home.
So...I dunno.

Love those kids! But, what about the Innkeeper?

Since a storm was brewin' initially I was supposed to be tying a canvas down on top of the house. When the set piece came, the Director liked the little window so much she stuck me in it.
Set designer said (and I'm not making this up), "If I'd known it was for you, I'da made a bigger window..."
;-)
Incidentally, they either edited my line or filmed it on the night I got it wrong. I was supposed to say "never seen anything like it."

Oh, that might have been what you said and I'm remembering it wrong.
I'll let you know on my re-re-viewing.
If'n XGI doesn't mind, I could hold on to it for another month and take it with me to Washington. Or he can forward it to Hair after he watches it. :-D

Why not have the moot in Baltimore, than I can join you?
I mean we have the Convention Center and the 1st Mariner Arena and dozens of hotels for lodging.
There is lots to see, we have the Lexington Market and the Inner Harbor and Baltimore's own World Trade Center as well as the Imax and the aquarium.
The LightRail will take you past the ballpark and football stadium. Not to mention a few other places.

No, you're remembering correctly. What you saw was not what was scripted. ;-)
I had one scene this year where I had to order this outrageously complicated drink in "Snowbucks." I came off stage one night and asked "what the heck did I just order?"
You're going to Washington?
Did I know this?
Discuss.

hehehehe...Pippin, I'm talking the state, not the capitol. :-D
I want to see mountains again, Corin, mountains, and then find somewhere where I can rest. In peace and quiet, without a lot of relatives prying around, and a string of confounded visitors hanging on the bell. I need a holiday. A very long holiday.
