Go to www.google.com, then type in 'French military victories". Instead of hitting search, hit "I'm feeling lucky". Tell everyone to check it out before Google fixes it.

It's been that way for at least two years now.
They are not fixing it any time soon

Wow, and only three years behind the rest of the online world. Did you know there are now six Star Wars movies?

I know.... but it's worth it. My old tagline was "Going to war without the French is like going fishing without your lawnmower".

How can they possibly "fix" it? There are NO victories...

That is very good!
Now, what exactly is that?
To my eyes it looks
like some kind of hack,
and not a straight Google flaw.
Does anyone know?

In the sailing world
a lot of sailing records
are held by Frenchmen.
I mean, it's not much,
but it's something. The French can
sail boats pretty well.

Man, am I glad to see you post this. I just posted the same thing a couple weeks ago, and the first response was "Welcome to 2002". It would appear that I'm not the only one who wasn't let in on the secret way back when. And frankly, I don't care how old the joke is. I still think it's funny. And true.

That gave me a chuckle. If you click on "French military defeats" it takes you to a website with such gems as:
- Hundred Years War - Mostly lost, saved at last by female schizophrenic who inadvertently creates The First Rule of French Warfare; "France's armies are victorious only when not led by a Frenchman." Sainted.

Search Results: Did you mean: french military defeats?
Too funny.

Search google images under both headings also for a few laughs and interesting pictures.
PS: I had not seen this before either so we are both behind the times!

The French can sail boats pretty well. Yep, all that practice from retreating.
