paul has surprised us by not starting the thread this week (another power outage, could it be?) As the emergency backup guy, I will have to go ahead and post the thread and do the pinging honors. I don't have an updated version of the ping list, so my apologies to anyone who was added recently who isn't on here.

No, there aren't any in my neighborhood.

Two doors down from me is a girl who is 33 but looks like she's 16, but that's the closest I can think of.

Good morning. Sorry I been sick so I have not been able to post as much. But emotionally I have been fine :)

I saw that article. it is SOMETHING like I have envisioned.... BUT it still appears to be a disc-based format, with scanning mechanically advanced, like a CD, LD, or DVD disc. I thought of TOTALLY solid-state memory devices, that use some non-mechanical, (holographic matrix of light, or something), to advance the scanning beam, at a MUCH faster rate, than a slide-type or rotating arm type-pickup, as optical media use.

On another front...... There seems to be a SICK belief, IMHO, that if a man has sexual relations with an underage girl, that is RAPE, pure and simple.... BUT... SOME PEOPLE, (including some here) say there is NOTHING wrong with a WOMAN doing the same thing to an underage BOY!!!!

AM I out of step, for feeling that "what is good for the goose, is good for the gander",and that it is a CRIME, of EQUAL intensity, REGARDLESS of which sex the perpetrator is ????

Thank you. I will check out the cartoons. I have been away visiting relatives and so busy with the holiday preparations that I have not been able to get on the computer for more than a few minutes at a time. I guess I will have to hold off until after Christmas to catch up with you all on the Singles Thread.

Very cool :) That is like my neural net idea but without arificial neurons (which grow and make new connections as the AI learns).

It is sick no matter who does that. I agree with you. I generally avoid those threads because of that.
