Having step daughters in MTV's target age range (4 of 'em ages 5, 11, 13, 16) I've actually watched a few episodes of Newlyweds. Nick Lachey is fairly bright believe it or not. I never heard him sing or whatever else he does, and I've also seen him on other venues, he seems decent enough.

Jessica on the other hand, IMO she's overrated in looks, extremely overrated on talent, dumb as a stump, pampered, inept... I'm surprised they stayed together as long as they did. I'd have locked her in a room somewhere.
