Many students at the school described Holt as a popular teacher at the school.

I guess so.

When I was in High School, all the girls were gunning for the older guys.

Now that I'm an older guy, the ladies are after the teens.

Ya can't win for losing.

"This is being buried"

Compromising position? I guess that's not all that was getting buried! ;-)

Heh, heh, heh.

I'll need to see a picture of this teacher before I decide how I feel about the situation.

It is indeed truely amazing that the same-gender fact was left out of the story. That is PC in the extreme.

I read the article assuming the student was male. LOL, I sure fell for that one. Thanks for the insight.

Are 17 year old considered adults where ever this is?

If this were my 17 year old daughter, I'd be furious with that teacher. And sorry student, she's not that cool after all.

Good catch!

Yup, half of the unholy feminist/yahoo alliance that fuels this hysteria will fall silent on this case.

If the student is an adult then what is the justification for arresting the teacher but not the student?

....Holt is a first-year home education teacher.

Home education teacher? Is this what they're now calling what I remember in the 8th grade as "Home Economics" (cooking, sewing, ironing...)? Thought I should ask, because given today's gubbermint schools, you never know what might be in the curriculum.

"They came across the vehicle, which for some reason raised their suspicion, walked up to it and that was when they saw the teacher and student in a compromising position," said Joe Harn, Garland Police Department.

The steamed up windows were the first clue.

Yeah, I noticed that the sex of the student was NEVER mentioned.

Interesting how consistently we can uncover facts by what the media reliably refuses to say.

Still, it's better than the other gut instinct of the MSM, which would be to hold these women up as victims of societal mores, as with Kommie Couric and Andrea Yates.

No wait. That'll still happen.

Nah, it's being buried because the student is legally an adult in Texas. That takes the wind out of most of it.
