I recall that shortly after 9-11, there was an interview with a rock band (Brits I guess), during which one of the members said the deaths of the victims were overrated, that there were whales and other animals dying. He was told to SHUT UP during the interview by the other band members.

I have not been able to find this again on Google. Does this ring a bell for any freepers?

All I remember is that is was some boy band, like a British version of N Sync. Those sort of acts fade into obscurity pretty fast.
