I went on eHarmony. I was looking for a Godly woman first, so they only sent me matches that were like that. I got a lot of matches who would be a great partner for someone else. Fortunately for me, I finally met my wife. She is really a spectacular woman and I'm glad eHarmony opened up a network outside my church community. There are a lot of great Christian people who have trouble finding each other because we are busy and go to churches in different parts of town.
I went to eHarmony and they said I couldn't be matched with anyone, because I was too "unusual."
EHarmony does meet with some success, and I've often wondered if it was because people did put faith in the system, and hence put more faith in the idea that their relationships would/should work out. Positive thinking is a great asset.
As far as services go, I particularly liked the old matchmaker, from an operational and UI perspective, before they dumbed it down.
Congratulations on finding your wife! Now get off this thread!:)
Never had the courage to sign up for any of them.I kind of have the personality of a rock and just could never imagine trying to strike up a conversation with a complete stranger,in the context of a date.
