WHO SHALL WIN?
amazing...a goal line stand to win the game...
Are the G-Men playing pre-vent D? The Vikes haven't been able to do squat on offense the entire day but they're now marching downfield with ease. . ....and are now in FG range.
Edinger FG 48. We may win in spite of ourselves.
This Sux!
10 seconds for Giants to do that...ball on 40.
Then again we may not.
Ouch. Weve lost a few close ones like that this year.
game over 24-21...what happened?
The Giants deserved to lose -- just an embarrassing performance. Good teams win games they're supposed to win, and it looks like the Giants aren't ready for the bigtime yet...
Wow. Amazing.
Away game win....Congratulations!
If Washington wins later we have a 3 way tie in the NFC east at 6-3.
Wildcard may have to have a 10-6 record this yr.
oops, provided the Cowboys beat the Eagles tommorow night as predicted.
Edinger hit a field goal with ten seconds to go. Believe me, this is the worst Viking team in twenty years. I don't say that to rub it in, but how this team is 4-5 is beyond me.
1st downs: NY 23, Min 11
Rushing yds: Giants 124, Min 12
Passing yds: Giants 280, Min 125
The keys to the game were obviously turnovers and special teams play. Manning tossed 4 INTs, Johnson 0, and the Vikes returned both a punt and a kickoff for TDs.
Thank you. We do make it interesting. Good luck to you!
Oh well. A loss is a loss; nothing big to fret about. We're still in command of the NFC East, pending the results of the Skins/Bucs game and tomorrow's Monday Night match-up. Even if the Skins and Boys win, we'll still be tied for first.
The offense had a bad day. Eli had a good comeback in the final quarter, but the defense - which had been playing excellently all day - laxed off in the end. All I can say is that when a team plays down to the level of their competition, they deserve to lose.
Oh well. I'm not angry; a little upset, but not angry. Any given Sunday; just don't get all upset and immediately declare the Giants as 'horrible'.
A badly-played game on offense (until the final drive), a terrible day on special teams, and a defense that laxed off in the end (and didn't make any turnovers; the Vikings had 4 interceptions off of Eli).
Another game, another week. Next week is a big test at Philly. Until then, don't lose your heads.
The Giants went into 'prevent' defense. It was puzzling; why change from what worked all day? Oh well.
Also, I forgot about Bennet's fumble. Must've been outside when it happened. Oh well.
Sideline passes and attacking the secondary, which is what we should have done from the beginning of the game.
Our line trying to run into the middle of that defense is stupid especially with a dancer like Bennett. Naturally, Tice tried it for two and a half quarters.
Manning had the worst game of his season. The Giants will be fine.
