Oh well. A loss is a loss; nothing big to fret about. We're still in command of the NFC East, pending the results of the Skins/Bucs game and tomorrow's Monday Night match-up. Even if the Skins and Boys win, we'll still be tied for first.
The offense had a bad day. Eli had a good comeback in the final quarter, but the defense - which had been playing excellently all day - laxed off in the end. All I can say is that when a team plays down to the level of their competition, they deserve to lose.
Oh well. I'm not angry; a little upset, but not angry. Any given Sunday; just don't get all upset and immediately declare the Giants as 'horrible'.
A badly-played game on offense (until the final drive), a terrible day on special teams, and a defense that laxed off in the end (and didn't make any turnovers; the Vikings had 4 interceptions off of Eli).
Another game, another week. Next week is a big test at Philly. Until then, don't lose your heads.
It's a bad sign. The Giants should have defeated the Vikings easily. If you can't win a home game against a 2-6 team that's down a starting QB, how can you claim a championship?
