I hope you are right :)
Give or take
True. I hope we at lkeast make 700 by tommorow
Just give everyone time to show up...although since Sunday's a work night, maybe that will affect turnout.
Thats true. At least we have more than 300. Fair enough for me.
A friend sent me an email today with his recipe for singles-on-the-run. It's one I haven't tried, so there's no guarantee on the taste, but it looks quick and easy:
1 package of Raman noodles (still 5 for $1 at your local)
Some veg
Some meat already cooked(ham or that left over whatever works well)
Some cheeze
soy sauce.
Boil the noodles for 10 min in 3c water. Add the contents of the flavour packet.
During the 10 min, put some veg, some meat and some cheeze in a bowls big enough to hold everything.
After the 10, pour the noodles and liquid into the bowl.
Eat
Sounds yummy.
My secret recipes always involve two special ingredients: leftovers, and a microwave.
Unless I'm making a gourmet cuisine PBJ, or exquisite bowl of potatoe chips.
I like pineapple sandwiches, also banana sandwiches.
Take a couple of slices of bread, slather on some mayonnaise. Add pineapple slices.
Add lettuce, or not.
Same with a banana, slice it lengthwise.
Some people like to add peanut butter to their banana sandwiches.
"Some people like to add peanut butter to their banana sandwiches."
I am very much one of them.
Unfortunately, I don't really like mayo on anything. Ham sandwich, BLT, MAYBE.
I made a bizarre concoction regularly when I was a lot younger. Let's see if I remember...Ham, mustard, pickles, cheese, and bordeaux ketchup (not the regular kind).
Thanks for the recipie :) Copying it and saving it :)
Peanut butter combined with apple butter is my favorite.
I never even heard of a banana sandwitch lol.
With peanut butter, I love it.
You're welcome.
I actually own several complicated cookbooks, but rarely cook anything if it takes more than a few minutes to make!
Cool I used to eat peanutbutter and jam sandwitches
LOL understand how that feels.
Peanut butter and jam, that's not too bizarre. Look at my thing on post 590. I want to throw up just thinking that I used to eat that.
All those little recipes you told me about in your posts sound interesting. There's a few things I don't like (sweet pickles, chopped walnuts) but that's a minor quibble.
"Peanut butter combined with apple butter is my favorite."
Oh, mine too!!!
