LOL my first time starting this thread so it may be amaturish at best until I get the...

What a shame that most people don't feel that way. They had rather talk about the Bengals (which is VERY popular around these parts right now-- hey, they even got me interested a bit), or Paris Hilton, or Ben Afleck, or the latest fashion trends, or such--- NOT about "things that matter", so to speak.

You're absolutely right; there are an awful lot of people who would rather waste time on silly gossip or other trivialities than exercise their minds at all.

Yes, I did get them. My favorite one is America, I miss you. It is amazing it takes you only about a couple hours to get these down.

I know what you mean. I want to have a real conversation with a woman (IF I get lucky enough to find one interested in me).

Stay safe but noticed "The Wizard of Oz" is playing on TBS right now.

Oh no, we're not in Missouri any more! Actually, we still are, tornado warning is cancelled. TV says there was damage about 20 miles west of here (possible several small tornadoes touched down) and back to our regular programming. I love Missouri, tornado sirens one minute, still some rain and a little thunder but it's already passed over us. It was pretty exciting for awhile but I love storms (unless they get real ugly).

LOL that or eating ceral and toast.

That's pretty well my normal fare, or Taco Bell with the occasional sweet and sour chicken thrown in. I had to cook family meals for years, I don't cook no more except for the occasional roast or steak.

Well I would not mind the distance but it are there any women on FR that are not taken? (sorry if it offended any of you)

I am curious, obviously someone had to move. Do you think that makes it difficult for a relationship, leaving job, home, possibly family? Sorry to post to you again, I know you're not single and just popping in but I was curious. I had a long distance relationship, moved. It did not turn out well.

I have a pizza suggestion. This is not "fast" but it is cheap and good. It is more of a meal to put together curing tv commercials.

Just get a box of Chef BoyArDee pizza kit. I get the cheese because it is the only version my handiest store sells. It is around $3 for a kit that makes two pretty large pizzas.

Of course you can add any goodies you have but if you don't it is still good just with what is in the kit. How can you go wrong with hot bread, sauce, and parmesan cheese?

It is important to oil the baking pan very well or it will stick and be ruined. Also, make the crust dough, cover it in the bowl, and let it sit for at least a half hour. This makes it MUCH easier to spread out. If you do it too early it fights against you. I usually set the bowl on the stove top and turn on the oven to preheat so the oven and dough are ready together.

We don`t get a lot of "severe" weather upstate here, some isolated t-storms,tornado`s are rare.
Worst that we get are noreasters and sometimes prolonged deep freezes.

No doubt, it's hard out there.

My luck this week as been um....ironic? I can't repeat last night's adventure, but it was so bad, I decided to stay in tonight to try to break my mini "streak"

I've heard you repeat three times now that no one has ever been interested in you, and I've only known you a few minutes.

If you don't mind me being sortof blunt... I'd say you're telling us not to be interested. And that's your opening line.

All we can see here are your words, and your words are already claiming defeat. I hung out on this forum two years, even chatting with my future husband for over a year before we began getting serious. I talked to a thousand people. Only had a relationship with one.

Be funny, be kind, be charming, be worthy. Be the guy a gal would want to meet. - my two cents.

Generally I am not one for "appliances". A different appliance for every application but one thing I love is a toasted sandwich maker.

It's quick and easy and certainly cheap. You just slap a piece of bread on there, some cheese and lunch meat and close it. It sorta smashes the bread and cuts it in half. In about a minute you have a grilled sandwich, no mess. Now that's my kind of cooking!
