Well, it sounds a little silly for people to be upset by something as trivial as when the ping for the thread is started.

I don't know...how much longer do you think we can stand it without her? This is a cause for grave concern.

Regardless, I want to fight. Come on, ozarkgirl. It's a little scary, but I can take you. Haha, you think you can take me?? Bring it on little boy!
In truth, I think you'd win but only because you're a guy and have more strenth.
OK, you and me, in the ozark mountains, we only have to live off what we find or kill. And we only get the weapons we already have.
Who would win?
To: pcottraux
She has not contacted me in five days. I am starting to worry.

Ha! You are wrong, fiend. I think you could probably bench press me. My wrists are so thin, sometimes my hands fall off. I could wear cheerio's as bracelets. I have to weigh myself on a postage scale. I wouldn't say I'm weak, but...okay, yeah I would.
I think you'd lose, 'cause I'd get the heck out of there!

I freepmailed her and she hasn't answered me, either.
Maybe she is out of town, didn't she mention her daughters live in other states? One in Alabama, maybe one in Florida, and one in California?

For awhile she would chat on Yahoo IM. She told me she was getting ready to host some big Xmas gathering and how stressful it was for her to prepare for it. I am willing to consider the fact that she is too exhausted, but complete lack of contact (even very breif) does cause worry.

Ohh yes. Her whole family was coming to her place (including extended family. Total numbers are about 30 people). But yes her daughters do live in other states.

Hmm...I get the feeling if I send her a FReepmail or anything, she'll be overwhelmed. Can't have that.
