France Burns and We are Fools to Cheer
4 Nov 05 | self

Posted on 11/04/2005 7:09:39 PM PST by jb6

We are all witness to a historic event, the beginning of the Islamic Jihad in France and the Netherlands, soon to be spread to the rest of Western Europe. As Paris burns, as the Christian infrastructure is being destroyed, as some of the most fundimental historical foundations of the Western world is now threatened, it is foolish to allow negative feelings for past deeds by the French or any other to cloud our collactive judgements.

We should not snicker, we should not cheer, we should not jab them in the ribs. We are Christians, might I remind you, and the wayward brother now suffers and it is a suffering that we are creating for our own future as well. Our Muslim population does not integrate so well as we would like to believe. Furthermore, as the Oklahoma University bombing shows, more then a few of our own children are willing to join that Islamic scourge and bring down the civilization that gave them life.

Instead, as Christians, as something other then petty human beings, we must assist our Christian brothers, be they French, Lebanese, Cypriots, Russians, Serbs, Ethiopians or any other, to fight the very scourge that will one day trully come for us as well.

If we wish to even pretend to be Christian, it is time to act like it. It is time to see these barbarians for what they are, not just a threat to France but to all Judeo-Christian civilization.

We either stand united or we fall one by one, a light of civilization blinking out here and there, until the night of eternal evil and slavery is all that is left to humanity.

So which will it be? Christ and brotherhood? Or pettiness and eternal darkness?

Hey, there's nothing petty about wanting to see europe dragged back down into the Dark Ages where they belong. Let the muzzies have them.

We should be grateful. It is a lesson for the rest of the world.

If the Europeans use this wake up call I certainly will cheer, If,as usual, they try to appease or buy their way out of this difficulty it will probably be the end of France.

"If we wish to even pretend to be Christian, it is time to act like it. It is time to see these barbarians for what they are, not just a threat to France but to all Judeo-Christian civilization. "

I beg to differ, France is no longer Christian, nor do they even acknowledge their Judeo-Christian heritage, as witnessed in the drafting of the now defunct EU Constitution.

It is only the French themselves who can repent and withdraw from their secularist identity, and I don't see that happening.

I'm not cheering. It just doesn't surprise me they chose to act in France first. Of much greater concern is the situation in the UK, where Muslims now are numerous. I heard somewhere that they now outnumber Anglicans in the UK, although I can't provide authority for that statement. How long will it take for the riots to happen in London?.

This eurabian intifada may well be the best thing to have happened to western europe, in some sense. had these riots happened 10 yrs later, after turkey's accession, then europe would've been well and truly irredeemable. Even now there's a remote chance the frenchies and danes might just wakeup and vote in the far right that'll boot out moslems who dont belong there to the hellholes they came from ....
/just wondering, is all...

Are there French Christians? Do the French want our help? If we call a spade a spade and denounce the riots, won't the French call us racist, right-wingers for not understanding the the muslims' pain? The French don't approve of our remedy to the muslim problem, anyway. So, burn, Paris, burn.

"How 'bout a Crusade then?"

With nukes. I can picture the climax with Abrams and Merkavas plowing through the wreckage of the grand mosque.

I would like for them to repent their secretive
support of the murderous Islamists and ask
forgiveness before the international community for their
support of Saddam's regime including the food for oil program
and for them to formally denounce the UN

A crusade to France. Cool!

Finally, a war well worth fighting! Great food, great wine, loose women to mop our sweaty brow from a long day spent sending the "believers" to allah...

Europe must learn that it can preserve its way of life only by fighting for that way of life.

Europe must stand on its own two feet in order for this to happen. If the German Wehrmacht crosses the border, Americans can go over and throw the panzers back. But this time it's not so simple. We cannot remove the enemy from France. Only France can save itself.

By ridiculing France for its weakness and inability to defend itself from teenagers, we are helping them feel shame. We are helping them find the grit to handle this crisis as it ought to be handled. More than that we cannot do.

France is learning a lesson about the choice they made. I hope what is happening to them, indeed a jihad, is going to wake them up and join us in the War on Terror. There is no middle ground ---- you are with us or against us. j If they don't get smart and do it fairly quickly, they are going to be in deep, deep trouble. So is the rest of Western Civilization.
