Welcome Flavius! Why does Flavius refer to himself the the third person? Is Flavius Bob Dole?
So what was so miserable about this week other than our faithful President had a miserable one? I think he's in Argentina and there are protests there. I think the poor guy is fairly normal and would probably take these to heart. What really makes me mad was when I heard that they were protesting that he hadn't given them the jobs they were promised.
We left our back door open to get some fresh air yesterday and went off to work, and our dear little house cat got out and was gone when we got home at about 9:30 p.m. We were crushed, but at about 2:30 we were checking the door and she comes running up "rrraaaaoooowwwww!" What relief! She is asleep on her blankie now, actually licking her paw.
Good!
pcottraux thinks talking in the first person is fun.
I guess I'm the only one.
I have been happy with the President ever since he nominated Alito. I decided to give him a break and not be mad at him for a while.
When you're ready to "tell," we'll know it's for real.
;-)
God moves in a mysterious way His wonders to perform; He plants His footsteps in the sea, and rides upon the storm.
Deep in unfathomable mines of never-failing skill, He treasures up His bright designs, and works His sovereign will.
Ye fearful saints, fresh courage take, the clouds ye so much dread, are big with mercy, and shall break In blessings on your head.
Judge not the Lord by feeble sense, but trust Him for His grace; Behind a frowning providence, He hides a smiling face.
His purposes will ripen fast, unfolding every hour; The bud may have a bitter taste, but sweet will be the flower.
Blind unbelief is sure to err, and scan his work in vain; God is His own interpreter, and He will make it plain.
William Cowper, "God Moves in a Mysterious Way", 1774.
It's a step in the right direction, definitely.
I am sorry. To be honest this whole year has been miserable for me. I am glad you had it good though :)
So what is everyone doing to change their bad week? I'm watching Three Wishes and bawling like a baby. It's very therapeutic.
My week wasn't so much miserable, as it was just kinda boring.
Flavius finds it amusing to refer to Himself in the third person, use the Royal We, and generally pretend He is Somebody. He is just playing. His name is really John. Thanks for the welcome!
Hmmm...Hoodlum will try talking in the third person. Hoodlum is not sure if she likes it. Hoodlum needs to ponder this ...
No idea here lol
Ups and downs. It would take a lot for a whole year to be bad.
Mine was a lot of work. Also, everyone seemed to get on my nerves.
Some people have got it, and some people haven't. Talking to hisself in the third person takes on a form of art. Like pig latin.
We agree with your assessment. We are happy he's made a good choice.
