"...Still, it's nice to get one's fingers into a bit of electronics one can actually work on."
LOL!
Yah...my late ex- was like that. He was happiest when he could really WORK on something!
I'm glad you're feeling better, and that you were able to sleep. I almost feel guilty that I don't/won't get that, but the trade-off is that I almost always feel like I'm coming down with a cold or the flu...:o[

"I don't smell like a pop star anymore. " You should smell of lavender.
Just my opinion, of course.

I don't own any lavender scents.
Some vanilla, some floral, but no lavender.
To: Monkey Face
Ugh.
Well, I smell another disaster coming. I know better than to let the goodwife run off alone to buy anything, however simple. She's been gone over an hour on a 35-minute trip, leaving her cellphone behind... all bad indicators. Not that she's going to buy everything out, but if the nearby store didn't have the part she's probably on the long haul to the store that would, and won't be home for another hour or three.

I don't want to get too deeply into how unbecoming J-Lo is, but at one of the last concerts I was at she showed up singing with Fat Joe so she could look skinny.
She has a foul shirt that said F&^king ????
Maybe the last word starts with a B and rhymes with itch.

I'm glad I washed the stuff off. I wouldn't want to start wearing clothes like that!
To: tuliptree76
Not only would you have lost all sense of fashion taste, but you would go color blind as well.
Better safe than J-Lo IMO.
You can mix a couple of drops of J-Lo perfume in a gallon of water and spray it around your apartment to keep out insects.

LOL!
It's going in the trash.
Apparently, I am the third "owner" of this bottle of perfume.
To: tuliptree76
You can get big money for that bottle of perfume by leaving an index card with a high sale price on the Latin Studies board at your college.

To: A CA Guy
There are probably a lot of girls at the college who would be willing to wear it. I suppose I could just give it away to someone in the department.
To: tuliptree76
Sell it for $100 to someone in the latin studies program! :-)

I don't think it goes for $100 new.
To: A CA Guy; tuliptree76
No, no! Auction it off.
Or put a box in front of the class for secret bids.
