Due to illness, no thread last week. Sorry about that.
Today is Halloween (at least in most places). While recovering, I heard that some towns have prohibited all Halloween celebrations (including trick-or-treating). Bah Humbug !!! Halloween is celebrated by me and the cats, politicians be damned.
BOO !!
Milky Way !! MINE !!! Back, back, all of you back !!!
Like My Costume ??
Trick or (hiccup) treats. Forget treats. Pass the booze !!.
Each and every cat pic on this thread is go-jus!

No, that cat doesn't have an "I'm gonna eat your gizzard" look in her eye. :)

Writing implements
are enemies to all cats.
Must attack that pen!
In honor of every cat I've ever had in my life who happened to be around when I was trying to do a crossword puzzle...

Excellent Haiku, Felicity!!!
Most every cat I've owned couldn't understand the thing in my hand when I was drawing, doing homework, Word Jumbles or Crossword Puzzles.
They'd bat at it and eventually end up chewing on it.
Jack.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....
Unhappy Halloween Cats!
I'd lock up all of my shoes if I were you, dora.
They all look like they'd love to do nasty, unspeakable things to and with them. or anything else within reach!
Jack.
Welcome back, PetroniDE! Glad you're feeling better.
I must take new pictures of the kittens... they're growing like weeds! The kitchen counter is no longer the safe place it was; they can leap up there with ease now.
Yesterday I spotted Tomas playing with them (or trying to.) He chases them, but he's too fat to move as quickly as they do and they know it.
:-)
Thanks. :) The most laissez-faire of my cats would just swat at the implement and try to knock it out of my hand. One of them seemed to think erasers were a food group, and would only go after pencils. Another decided to take the dirct approach: she wouldn't go after the Evil Thing itself, but would instead attack whatever was wielding the Evil Thing. She meant business, too; it's a wonder my right hand isn't just a mass of scar tissue.

When you're a Viking Kitty, every day is Halloween.

"...if not, you know your favorite work boots? It won't take me that long to leave my calling card in them. Oh yeah, I've been practicing....juuuuust in case ....."
Here's my girl Sasha. She was StrongBad for Halloween a few years ago.
I used to find my cat's toys in my shoes when I went to put them on for work. Do you think he likes me?
I'm sorry, I didn't know you were ill. I'm glad you feeling better and providing us with feline entertainment.
Toys? He likes you. Other stuff? Perhaps not!
lol, just toys.
I gave my down to two (sniff) cats a cookie today. One of them loves desserts, the other (Big Fuzz) prefers squirrels. But I won't catch them for him.
